THE STORY SO FAR...
A mysterious rift has opened within the Mushroom Kingdom! Out emerges a new threat to the Kingdom and, perhaps, the entire universe.Once a noble king from a distant world, King Galivus is determined to avenge his fallen planet by creating a new one... effectively obliterating the Mushroom Kingdom and its neighboring countries in the process. However, creating a planet is not an easy feat. he'll need all the dark magic he can get. What better source of dark energy than pure villains themselves?Mario and Luigi's past adversaries have been brought back for one final fight... it's up to them to stop King Galivus and his newly revived team of villains before he destroys the world.
